Hello! I’m José, a designer and artist from Portugal, currently enjoying life near the beach just outside Lisbon, where I live with my wife and two children.

Creativity has always been a big part of who I am, and starting this project allowed me to finally explore it fully, on my own terms. It's a passion-driven journey, but also one with a practical goal: to build a brighter future for my kids by providing a little extra support along the way.

The idea behind "Slow Slow" is rooted in the blend of cultural identities and the humor that comes from life’s everyday quirks. I’m fascinated by the small details that often go unnoticed - the subtle differences in how people express themselves across regions and cultures. Those unspoken expressions that sometimes get lost in translation but carry so much meaning, humor, and personality.

I love capturing moments of daily life - the familiar routines like having a coffee, catching a bus, or simply listening to music - the things we all do, but in our own unique way. It’s the quiet charm of these moments that inspires me, as well as the streets themselves, full of messages from people leaving their mark on the world in the simplest ways. I want to bring those fleeting, unnoticed moments into focus and share them with others.
